That is why we are looking at why a second account at Captrader can be particularly worthwhile for such cases.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group nf-info-boxen\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p class=\"nf-boxen-p-gut-zu-wissen\"><strong>In brief:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"infobox-ul\">\n<li class=\"infobox-li\">What are the disadvantages of most neo-brokers in Germany?<\/li>\n<li class=\"infobox-li\">Why do investors sometimes pay more than expected when using neobrokers?<\/li>\n<li class=\"infobox-li\">And how can investors get the best prices when buying or selling less popular securities?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Many neo-brokers, but often with a limited range<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neobrokers such as <a href=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/en\/review\/scalable-capital\/\">Scalable Capital<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/en\/review\/trade-republic\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/en\/review\/trade-republic\/\">Trade Republic<\/a> often offer their customers \u20ac0 costs, but as a rule this only applies to a <strong>limited selection<\/strong>. Investors should therefore not expect to have no costs while enjoying a full range of services \u2013 this calculation does not add up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, <strong>the choice of trading venues is very limited <\/strong> with the usual neobrokers. And as a result, investors may miss out on attractive opportunities, such as the <strong>Healthpeak Properties share<\/strong>, which owns over 150 American healthcare properties and currently offers a <strong>dividend yield of 4.4%.<\/strong> The market capitalization amounts to $14.54 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"992\" height=\"704\" src=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-3-12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-278201\" style=\"width:640px;height:454px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-3-12.png 992w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-3-12-300x213.png 300w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-3-12-768x545.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 992px) 100vw, 992px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equity Trading in Germany Compared to the NYSE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On its home exchange in New York, the <em>New York Stock Exchange<\/em> (NYSE), Healthpeak Properties shares are naturally traded very frequently. Significantly more than in Germany. On average, the trading volume for these shares is <strong>4 million in just one day<\/strong>, giving investors attractive prices for buying and selling.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now let&#8217;s look at the same share on the exchange of a classic neobroker in Germany. In this case, on the <strong> L&amp;S Exchange from Trade Republic<\/strong>. As can be seen in the following figure, there <strong>is hardly any trading volume<\/strong>. In addition, only 2 trades were processed on Monday, January 16, 2023 \u2013 over \u20ac50 and \u20ac900. So almost nothing.    <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-4-3-1024x482.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-278206\" style=\"width:706px;height:332px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-4-3-1024x482.png 1024w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-4-3-300x141.png 300w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-4-3-768x362.png 768w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-4-3.png 1136w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s take a look at the number of units. Here, too, we see a very limited offer of 301 units. Investors can sell these at a price of \u20ac24.80 or buy them at a price of \u20ac25. Thus, a maximum of \u20ac7,525 can be bought or \u20ac7,464.80 sold via the L&amp;S Exchange. The difference between these two amounts \u2013 <strong>the spread<\/strong> \u2013 is quite high at \u20ac60.20. This is how <strong> L&amp;S Exchange <\/strong> and, in this case, <strong>Trade Republic make their money<\/strong>. So much for the \u201c\u20ac0 costs\u201d.     <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-5-2-1024x460.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-278212\" style=\"width:741px;height:333px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-5-2-1024x460.png 1024w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-5-2-300x135.png 300w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-5-2-768x345.png 768w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-5-2.png 1271w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now we might think that Xetra, as the <strong>largest trading center in Germany<\/strong>, would be a better option for trading Healthpeak Properties shares. But even a quick glance at this trading center makes it clear that this is not the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the trading volume on the L&amp;S Exchange was very small, but at least displayed, it is not even visible on Xetra. This is an indication that the Healthpeak Properties share is also <strong>hardly traded on Xetra. <\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1003\" height=\"507\" src=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-6-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-278217\" style=\"width:752px;height:380px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-6-1.png 1003w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-6-1-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-6-1-768x388.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1003px) 100vw, 1003px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With larger values like Apple, the volume is quite visible. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"996\" height=\"445\" src=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-7-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-278222\" style=\"width:747px;height:334px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-7-1.png 996w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-7-1-300x134.png 300w, https:\/\/northern.finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Grafik-7-1-768x343.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 996px) 100vw, 996px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can investors now put their money to more profitable use?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For investors who want to invest more than a few hundred euros in the somewhat more unusual shares, it is worth taking a look at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/en\/review\/captrader-review\/\">Captrader<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the platform, they can also <strong>trade<\/strong> non-typical securities <strong>directly in the USA<\/strong> <strong>at record low prices<\/strong>, with a minimum fee of just $2. To do this, prospective investors must complete a self-disclosure questionnaire stating that they either have an account with over \u20ac500,000 in volume or are an active trader with experience in the financial sector. For the latter, a normal banking apprenticeship is usually sufficient.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This way, investors can now also include <strong>only in America-approved ETFs<\/strong> in their portfolio, starting at a fee of $2 and 1 cent for more than 200 ETF shares. However, in this case, investors must also pay tax on everything independently.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no automatic payment of taxes when trading US ETFs on Captrader. So with great opportunities comes great responsibility for investors. However, for some, US ETFs can most likely be an interesting addition to their portfolio.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Broker for US shares: an unusual platform for unusual trades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neobrokers have been enjoying great popularity for some time, especially in Germany. They often offer investors popular securities and ETFs at attractive prices. However, many neobrokers quickly reach their limits when it comes to investors who also want to invest in less popular shares or ETFs.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is because the trading volume for less common securities in Germany is so low in most cases that prices are often very unattractive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Captrader, investors have the opportunity <a href=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/northern.finance\/en\/\">to invest directly in the home country of the respective security at low fees and thus get the best prices<\/a>.
